Grand Affineur Goat Cheese

Age: 12 Months+
Produced by famous Dutch farm Kaamps, this cheese is aged for over a year to produce a drier, granular texture with salt crystals throughout. The goat's milk at this stage tastes almost like caramel with sweet & piquant notes in the finish.
Not an overly strong cheese, but it is full flavoured and you can taste hints of the goat milk coming through eventhough it's not a pronounced barn-yardy type goat flavour.
Think texture like aged Parmesan with classic flavours of aged Dutch gouda.
