A decadent, delicious, rich treat!

I have been searching for this cheese and so glad I finally found it in Canada. Highly recommend for a luxurious charcuterie board or just a decadent afternoon snack. I will definitely be ordering more!

wonderful cheese. the lid on the brillat-savarin had come off- but all is well- could have been more securely fastened.

Fast shipping/ great cheese

I got this for my folks who live remote and they loved all the cheeses I picked. The website made it easy to pick items as I don’t eat cheese myself so I am lost without good guidance. Reading the reviews of each cheese really helped.

Nice soft rind, creamy filling

This cheese is just a delight in texture. It's like eating a cream that sits perfectly on bread or a cracker. Won't wow your guests in flavor, but it's a great experience.

Brillât savarin

When I lived in France I ate the non-affiné brillât. This was good but way stronger than the fresh.

Brillat-Savarin Cheese

The Facts

Country: France
Milk: Pasteurized cow
Age: 1-2 months

Tasting Notes:

Brillat-Savarin cheese is a beautiful triple cream from Burgundy, France—first created in the 1930's. The cheese was named after French chef Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin.

The 75% butterfat triple cream has a delicate, thin, edible bloomy rind. Flavours are fresh, lactic, buttery, and mushroomy, with notes of nuts and truffles. The texture is soft and creamy, but also dense and slightly chalky.

A must try for anyone who loves a rich, buttery triple cream!

200 g

Pair with a Champagne or sparkling wine.
