Crème de Marrons de l'Ardeche

First created in 1885 by French master confectioner Clément Faugier, who was simply trying to find a way to recycle the leftovers from his sweet treats, Crème de Marrons de l'Ardeche has become a favourite in French households and even ski resorts for more than 100 years.

The treat soon became popular all over France, where children and parents alike have been enjoying the spread during breakfast, as a snack, or in a variety of desserts. 

Crème de Marrons de l'Ardeche is made from chestnuts and other simple, all natural ingredients. Even to this day, the company is committed to keeping it that way. 

Enjoy this French delicacy with yogurt or on ice cream. Or, for a really decadent treat, fill crepes with the spread and top with your favourite fruit and some whipped cream!
