Airborne Vipers Bugloss Honey

Airborne Vipers Bugloss Honey is predominantly produced in the Marlborough and Otago provinces, on New Zealand's South island. There are other areas on the island that produce the honey on occasion, but are not reliable in terms of quality.

Vipers Bugloss is a wild flower, also known as "Borage". During the summer months, the beautiful blue flower can be seen covering the hills of the Central South Island. It received its unusual name from the shape of the seed, which resembles a viper's head. Locals once even mistakenly used the seed as a treatment for snakebites!

This delicate honey is high in fructose, which makes it the perfect choice to sweeten tea, coffee, and other drinks. It also has an almost chewy texture, and a subtle flavour with hints of jasmine, along with a floral aroma.

Airborne Vipers Bugloss Honey is golden in colour. Each jar includes pollen count, batch numbers, and lab tested active ingredients on its label. It is also traceable. You may trace it to the specific area and apiary that produced the honey. Jars are 100% recyclable and non-toxic.

Use to sweeten tea or other drinks, use for baking, enjoy with cheese, or on bread or crackers.
