If you can imagine a taste that's a cross between Parmesan and Gouda, this is it. The texture is firm, but not dry, with a little bit of a creaminess. It has little specks of white sodium crystals throughout, which is typical for aged cheeses. This adds a really nice textural balance. The flavours are rich, nutty, and sweet. Finishes with hints of caramel and crème brûlée-burnt sugar.
Two Sisters Isabella cheese is a great snacking cheese to serve as is, with fresh fruits and other condiments, and red or white wine.
