Tasting Notes:


A soft, buttery, washed-rind cheese made to resemble the ultra-rare Vacherin Mont D’Or, which only comes around Christmas every year. This cheese is more widely available however, it is extremely delicious and may be served in a similar way. Either left are room temperature until it is super runny and then scooped out with a spoon or heated in the oven into a mini fondue-style cheese.  Once the plastic cover is pealed off, the wooden box is perfect for baking. We prefer to wrap the bottom of the box with foil just in case it leaks and then allow it to bake for 10-15 mins until it has a slightly golden crust. 

It's a bit pungent and grassy but not overpowering. We love to have it with cured meats, cornichons and a glass of Riesling.
