A delicious, occasional treat for those living a ketogenic lifestyle or anyone wanting to limit carbs and sugar. Gjetost Ski Queen Cheese melted into heavy cream makes a fabulous no sugar added (low carb) caramel sauce or fudge. As a processed cheese product I appreciate Ski Queens simple, clean all natural ingredients. Much better than the scary list of ingredients used in common North American processed cream cheese.

This brown cheese is so good on both savoury and sweet. I buy it in bulk when I find it and it lasts forever in the fridge. Just a taste in the evenings is enough to satisfy. It doesn't go bad in the fridge so expiry isn't usually an issue.

I love this savoury rich cheese. I can no longer find it in Alberta and had to order it from Ontario. This is my favourite cheese!

Tasting Notes:

The Gjetost Ski Queen Cheese (250g) is the closest thing to cheese fudge that you're going to try. It's sweet and smooth, and features deep flavours of sweet caramel.

As whey is boiled down and reduced, it starts to caramelize and sweeten up. It also acquires a beautiful dark colour as they form it into these blocks of sweet cheese goodness. 

A unique cheese and a fun one to try. 

We've seen people melt it down for a delicious, sweet fondue for dipping fresh fruit.

**please note the new format, these are now 250Gram blocks, not 500g like they were for many years.
